New York Knicks big man Jared Jeffries, who was recently signed after being bought out by the Houston Rockets, will make his return to Madison Square Garden tonight. There are rumblings that the Knicks plan to move him into the starting center spot.
The Breakdown
Head coach Mike D'Antoni has been tweaking his line ups since the team acquired Carmelo Anthony. He appears to be quite fond of Jeffries, who had played with the Knicks from 2006-2010. The Knicks are looking to give Jeffries a big role because of his defensive abilities and having Jared at center allows New York to shift Amare Stoudemire to his natural power forward position. Deep leagues should have Jeffries on their radar.
