As expected, the Minnesota Timberwolves have waived the recently acquired Delonte West. By waiving him, the Wolves only have to pay West $500,000 of his $4.6 million contract.The Breakdown
Everyone knew this move was coming. With West's legal troubles, we now have to wait and see whether the NBA decides to take disciplinary action against West. If Delonte can avoid a long term suspension, he could still be an impact player next season on the right team. We'll have to see what the NBA decides and then where he ends up before we can get a good idea of his fantasy value going into next year.
