Most Dropped: March 2

These are the five most dropped players over the last week. Stats listed below are from the last 7 days.

  1. DeJuan Blair (9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1 steal, 63% FG%): Blair was a double-double machine entering the All-Star break, but he hasn't been able to crack double figures in rebounds since the Spurs returned to action. Additionally, his minutes are starting to slip. If Blair doesn't turn it around soon, he'll have to be dropped in standard formats.
  2. Tayshaun Prince (Has not played due to injury): Things are a mess in Detroit and it's unknown whether Prince and others are missing games due to injury or as a result of a supposed protest. Prince has not done enough to be worth waiting on in standard formats. Fantasy owners should be looking at players like Austin Daye and Greg Monroe who are taking advantage of the minutes that have opened up while the veterans are sitting out.
  3. Antawn Jamison (23.3 points, 1 three-pointer, 6.7 rebounds, 1 steal, 85% FT%): It's no surprise Jamison has been widely dropped as he's likely to miss the rest of the season. Anyone still holding onto him should look for a replacement immediately.
  4. Ryan Anderson (8.3 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 85.7% FT%): Anderson's shots aren't falling, causing many owners to dump him. Since he's averaging just 21 minutes per game over the last week, it appears that his value will once again be limited to deep leagues until Anderson's scoring and rebounding numbers improve.
  5. Rashard Lewis (5.5 points, 1.3 three-pointers): Lewis has been dealing with knee issues for a few weeks, so it's no surprise his production has fallen off. He's lost his starting job to Josh Howard and it would not surprise us if the Wizards decide to shut him down at some point. We'd send him to the waiver wire in most leagues.
