Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is targeting a return this coming Tuesday against the Pistons. Yao has begun practicing after being out since November 10th due to an ankle sprain.The Breakdown
Although Yao is returning, his minutes are still going to be limited throughout the season and he'll miss back-to-backs. He remains an injury risk and, in our opinion, is just borderline rosterable in standard leagues. He wasn't particularly impressive in the five games he's played in this season. We would only recommend gambling on Yao in standard leagues if you're in need of center help. Otherwise, let another owner take the risk.
