Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins, acquired at the trade deadline, finally debuted for his new team. Perkins found himself immediately in the starting five, playing 20 minutes and putting up 6 points and 9 rebounds.
The Breakdown
It appears Kendrick's minutes were limited more because it was a blowout than to get him back into game shape. It's safe to assume he'll see in the neighborhood of 30 minutes a game going forward. Fantasy owners in need of a defensive center should consider picking up Perkins. He'll give fantasy squads an immediate boost in rebounding, blocks, and field goal percentage.
