Although New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams was expected to be shut down due to a wrist injury, he was back on the court Wednesday night. He played 37 minutes and flirted with a triple-double. Deron tallied 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The Breakdown
We're surprised that Williams has returned because doctor's had told him to rest his injured wrist for at least a month. Since Williams was dropped in a few leagues, we recommend scooping him up if he's a free agent. Just be aware that he could still be shut down at any time. You'll have to keep an eye on him on a game-by-game basis.
