The Toronto Raptors have bought out the contract of forward Peja Stojakovic. If he clears waivers, which is very likely, Peja intends to sign with the Dallas Mavericks.
The Breakdown
Stojakovic wants to play for a contender, so Dallas appears to be a good fit. He could potentially slide into the starting small forward spot, which the Mavericks have struggled to fill following Caron Butler's injury.
Those in deeper leagues may want to take a gamble and pick up Peja. He's certainly past his prime and he's struggled with injuries this season, but there's a chance a move to Dallas could revitalize him. Stojakovic is available in nearly every league.
