Baron Davis Practicing, On Verge of Returning

Los Angeles Clippers points guard Baron Davis has begun practicing with the team and could return in the next week.

The Breakdown
Davis' injury opened the door for rookie Eric Bledsoe to emerge as one of the biggest surprises of this year's rookie class. It will be interesting to see what happens when Baron returns to action. With Bledsoe's scoring and shooting percentage starting to cool, the rookie may be moved to the bench in favor of the experienced Davis, thought it's not certain.

Even if Bledsoe moves to a reserve role, fantasy owners may want to wait a few games before dropping the youngster. Davis has shown over the years that he's injury prone and it would not surprise us if he was sidelined again in the near future. He actually came back from his present injury for one game and then sat the team's next eight games. The Clippers are also likely to shop Baron around the league, though it's unknown whether many teams would be interested. The Clippers know they have their future point guard and are going to find a way to get him minutes.
