- With the start of the regular season on the horizon, Corey Maggette is unlikely to be ready for the Bucks' opening game. He is still recovering from offseason surgery. Carlos Delfino will likely be Milwaukee's starting forward until Maggette returns. Once Corey is healthy, it's not a given that he will be placed into the starting line up. Coach Scott Skiles may elect to use him in a sixth man role.
- The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Michael Redd may miss the entire season. At the very best you could expect to have Redd back toward the end of the season, but it would be a major stretch to expect any significant production from him at his age and with his injury history. He is not worth a roster spot in any leagues at this time, though deep leaguers may want to pick him up from the free agent pool after the All-Star break.
- Center Andrew Bogut made his preseason debut recently and finished with 11 points and 5 rebounds in 14 minutes. The numbers were very good given his limited court time, but he still remains a risk until we see him string together a few good games in the early part of the season.
- Shooting guard John Salmons began practicing with the team this week and is expected to be ready in time for the season opener.
