Josh McRoberts Has the Early Edge for Pacers Starting PF Spot

Indiana Pacers head coach Jim O'Brien told the Pacers official site that if the season started today, Josh McRoberts would be his starting power forward.

The Breakdown
These comments come from O'Brien not only because McRoberts has been playing well in training camp, but also because Tyler Hansbrough is still limited due to the vertigo he's been dealing with over the last few months. Hansbrough is working with the second unit and isn't allowed to participate in 5-on-5 drills.

If Hansbrough doesn't get back to 100% soon, there may not be much of a competition. O'Brien has been using veteran Jeff Foster as the back up center to Roy Hibbert, so he's basically out of the mix. It's really between McRoberts and Hansbrough and Josh is playing well right now. We'll see if Hansbrough recovers in time to show the Pacers he should be the starter.
