With the Hornets also waiving Jannero Pargo earlier this month, New Orleans appears to be comfortable with Willie Green backing up Chris Paul. Green has mainly played shooting guard in his career, so this is a bit of a gamble by coach Monty Williams. Chris Paul will obviously see huge minutes, so Green shouldn't be expected to be on the court running the point for long stretches.
Fantasy owners in need of point guard help in deep leagues may want to turn toward Green. If he doesn't have PG eligibility yet, he should have it in the early part of the season.
