The Boston Celtics and Shaquille O'Neal have come to terms on a 2-year contract for the veteran minimum.
The Breakdown
Following up on yesterday's update on Kendrick Perkins, Shaq has indeed signed with the Celtics and he'll fill in as the back up center to Jermaine O'Neal. At this point in his career, Shaq is only worth picking up in deep leagues. His only chance of having an impact this year is if Jermaine O'Neal gets hurt. But even if Shaq ended up in the starting line up, you can't expect more than 10 points, 6 rebounds, and a block out of him. Also, keep in mind that Shaq's playing time may become non-existent when Kendrick Perkins returns in the second half of the season.
