Shaun Livingston Inks With Bobcats, Could be a Great Sleeper Pick

Shaun Livingston has come to terms with the Charlotte Bobcats on a 2-year, $7 million deal.

The Breakdown
After suffering a devastating injury early in his career, Livingston has come full circle and is once again one of the most interesting prospects in the NBA. Last season, he got a chance to get major minutes in Washington and he delivered a number of games where he scored 20+ points and 7-8 assists.

Charlotte's main goal this offseason was to get itself a starting PG and Livingston has a good chance of filling that role. It is the perfect scenario for Livingston to have a break out year and fulfill the potential scouts saw in him as an 18-year-old rookie. He'll have to compete with D.J. Augustin for the starting spot, but considering Larry Brown has been very down on Augustin it's not likely D.J. gets the starting gig unless Livingston completely flops. The one concern with Livingston will always be the chance he gets hurt. He has been injured the bulk of his career. Still, he is only 24 and still has the potential to get better. He is certainly a player you could take a risk on at the end of your draft if you need a PG. If Shaun can just stay healthy, he has a good chance of having a career year in Charlotte.
