Aaron Brooks to Miss the Next 4-6 Weeks With Sprained Ankle

Houston Rockets point guard Aaron Brooks sprained his ankle in Saturday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. It was announced on Sunday that the injury will sideline him for the next 4-6 weeks.

The Breakdown
The injury puts Brooks' return around mid-December. With Kyle Lowry expected to return from an injury of his own this week, you will want to pick him up if he's available in your league. He should move into the starting line up once he's fully recovered and soak up Brooks' minutes.

In deeper leagues, you will want to target rookie Ishmael Smith who's only owned in a handful of leagues. Although Lowry is expected to start, there is a chance that Adelman favors Smith for the starting role. He has already played a couple of decent games this weekend while Brooks was out.
