The Boston Celtics have signed free agent Delonte West to a non-guaranteed deal.
The Breakdown
This is a decent situation for West to wind up in. The Celtics are thin at shooting guard, so there's potential for West to step into the role that Tony Allen once filled. There's also a good chance Delonte plays himself ahead of Nate Robinson in the rotation.
If the signing doesn't work out or West fails to leave his troubles behind him, the Celtics left themselves an out since the contract isn't guaranteed. This gives West even more incentive to get his act together and play well. West seems like a player to watch in deep leagues if you're willing to take a risk.
