Portland Trailblazers star guard Brandon Roy has now played in nine straight games since missing three games due to pain and swelling in his knee. His numbers have noticeably declined since his return with Roy's field goal percentage being way below his career average.
The Breakdown
Roy continues to play through the pain and he's seeing his usual heavy workload. Still, it's obvious Roy is not 100% and we expect him to struggle with his shot all season. He's just not as explosive off the dribble and he's having to settle for more jumpers. In addition to the decline in scoring and shooting, Brandon's assist and rebound numbers are also down. We still recommend dealing Roy if you can get good value in return.
