Wilson Chandler Embracing Sixth Man Role

Knicks reserve wing Wilson Chandler is averaging a double-double through 3 games.

The Breakdown
The decision to move Chandler to the bench figured to reduce his fantasy value, but it's done exactly the opposite. Chandler has become a spark off the bench, doing everything the team needs. He's averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, 1.7 threes, 1.3 steals, and 3 blocks. Just all-around impressive stats.

While I doubt Chandler can continue to play at such a high level throughout the entire season, he shouldn't have a huge drop off in his stats. The reason he is so valuable is that he steps in at shooting guard, small forward, and power forward, causing match up headaches. He could even end up getting power forward eligiblity at some point during the season, further increasing his value to a fantasy squad. Fantasy owners who are worried he may have a big drop off should starting shopping Wilson now while his value is so high.
