Quentin Richardson Emerges As Starter for Magic

After shuffling his line up throughout the preseason, Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy went with Quentin Richardson in the team's opening game against the Washington Wizards.

The Breakdown
Richardson supplanted last year's starter, Mickael Pietrus. Even though Pietrus played, he is still limited by a wrist injury. That could have been the reason Richardson started, so we'll have to monitor the next few games to see if any line up changes take effect as Mickael's health improves.

If Richardson sticks in the starting line up, he is going to get his share of open looks. The Magic team is loaded with shooters to punish teams that choose to double Dwight Howard. Richardson could be a decent source of threes and rebounds in deep leagues if he continues to play in the range of 25 minutes a night.
