Tim Thomas, who signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks after sitting out most of last season, has informed the team that he will be unable to honor his contract. Thomas had to care for his ill wife last season and it appears he will have to remain at home to care for his family.The Breakdown
This is unfortunate news for Thomas, who wanted to get back on the court. The Mavericks will have to find someone else to back up Dirk Nowitzki. Whoever they add shouldn't be expected to provide much in terms of fantasy production with Nowitzki playing big minutes every night.
